Not all Adjusters are created equally. The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) requires that a Public Adjuster hold a license to represent the policyholder.
Your insurer’s staff adjuster does not need a license and often relies on in-house training. For obvious reasons, this might not work in your favour.
